For surgeons and clinics

The problems in your day, and what DocZen actually does about them

No overclaiming here. This is the honest version, not the pitch version.

Patients who do not turn up

A booking made online with a real confirmation is harder to forget than a name scrawled in a register. We send the confirmation and the appointment time up front. We do not yet call to remind patients before the visit, so a no-show is still possible, but a real, specific appointment time reduces it.

A front desk that spends the day on the phone

Every booking that comes in through DocZen arrives already on your schedule, at a time your staff already opened up. Fewer calls in means fewer calls your desk has to make to confirm, reschedule or double-check.

Patients arguing about the fee at the desk

Your consultation fee is shown on your profile before anyone books. Nobody arrives expecting a different number, because nobody was ever shown a different number.

A waiting room where everyone thinks they are next

Appointment times are specific slots, not a first-come queue with no order. If two patients book, they book two different times, not the same one.

Honest limits

What DocZen does not do yet

DocZen is new. Rather than imply we do more than we do, here is what is not built yet:

  • Clinic records or an EMR
  • Billing or invoicing
  • Collecting payments for you (video consult fees are paid to you directly)

Verification

How verification works

  1. 1You submit your medical council registration number and which council issued it.
  2. 2We check it against the state council register (or the National Medical Commission register), usually within one working day.
  3. 3Once it checks out, we call you to set up your clinic timings and consultation fee.
  4. 4Your profile goes live and you get a link to share with your own patients.
