Why the booking-source report exists

The loudest complaint against booking platforms everywhere is being charged for a patient the practice found on its own. The Practice plan shows you the split between bookings DocZen brought you and bookings you brought yourself, so pricing can never be a black box you have to take on faith.

DocZen’s fee is a subscription for software and a listing. It is not a payment per patient, per booking or per referral. We do not sell ranking.

This matters to you specifically: under clause 6.4.1 of the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002, a registered medical practitioner giving or receiving consideration in return for a referral is prohibited conduct, and the practitioner is the party exposed. A flat monthly subscription keeps the money flow outside that rule.
