DocZen exists to remove the anxiety around seeing a doctor in India, not to list more names than the next site. Three steps, each one honest about what it actually gives you.
Find a surgeon
Filter by speciality, locality in Pune, consultation fee and next available slot. We show you who is actually taking new patients right now, not a directory of names.
Pick a real appointment time
The slot you see is the one the clinic actually holds for you, plus an honest wait estimate. If we do not know the wait yet, we say so. We do not manufacture a fake "instant confirm" to make the screen feel better.
Arrive knowing what it costs
The consultation fee is shown before you book. You pay the clinic directly at the visit. DocZen does not take your money, and there is no surprise charge at the counter.
What DocZen does not do
Being clear about the edges of the product matters more to us than sounding bigger than we are.
- We do not give medical advice. DocZen books appointments, it does not diagnose or treat.
- We are not for emergencies. If this is urgent, call 112 or go to your nearest hospital.
- Video consultations exist only where the doctor offers them. The join link is private to your appointment, and the fee is paid to the clinic directly.
- We do not sell your data. Your name, phone number and appointment history are not for sale to anyone.
Questions
- Is booking through DocZen free for patients?
- Yes. DocZen does not charge patients to search or book. You pay only the clinic's own consultation fee, directly to the clinic, at the time of your visit.
- Do I pay DocZen when I book?
- No. DocZen never collects your consultation fee. You pay the clinic directly when you arrive, the same way you would if you had called them yourself.
- How do you know the appointment slot is real?
- The time you see is the actual slot the clinic has set aside on their own schedule, not a placeholder DocZen generated. If a clinic has not confirmed a real slot, we do not show one.
- What is the wait estimate based on?
- Where a clinic has given us its own estimate, we show that. Where we have enough completed visits to measure a real median wait, we show that instead. We would rather say we do not know yet than invent a number.
- Can I cancel or change a booking?
- Yes, at any time and at no cost. Cancelling early lets the clinic offer that slot to another patient.
- Can I book an appointment for a family member?
- Yes. Booking for a parent or a child under your account is the normal case on DocZen, not an exception.
