Start with the visit you need
Booking an appointment online and having a consultation online are different things. You can book through DocZen and still meet your doctor in person at their clinic. Look at the location and appointment details before choosing a visit.
If you already have a doctor in mind, search by their name or clinic. Otherwise, start with your city and explore specialities. Read the qualifications and practice details on a profile; a speciality label alone cannot tell you everything about a doctor's work.
Check the clinic as well as the doctor
A convenient clinic is one you can actually reach. Check the address, locality and date before you book. If you need information about building access, parking or an accompanying person, ask the clinic directly.
Availability belongs to a particular practice and schedule. A doctor appearing in the directory does not necessarily mean an appointment is available on your preferred day. If a search is empty, try another location or speciality; the result describes DocZen's listings, not every clinic in the area.
Understand which consultation fee applies
Read the consultation name and fee together. A practice may offer a standard visit alongside a separately priced consultation, such as a surgical discussion. A consultation fee is not a quotation for an operation or a package of tests.
If you are unsure whether to select a first visit, follow-up or another consultation type, check with the clinic before confirming. For in-person visits, DocZen shows the consultation fee and payment is made directly to the clinic.
Keep the confirmation handy
Before confirming, check the patient's name, selected clinic, visit date and booking details. After booking, keep the confirmation accessible and use My appointments to find the visit again.
Some clinics use fixed appointment times and others organise patients into token sittings. Read the booking instructions and any wait estimate. An appointment helps organise your visit; it does not promise that every consultation will begin at an exact minute.
